Maria Εirini is an Athens Law School Graduate (LL.B) and holds an LLM in Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law (LL.M.) by the Leibniz University of Hannover (Germany) and Queen Mary, University of London (UK).
She is admitted to the Athens Bar Association and is fluent in English, German, French and Turkish.
She has worked for three years in the European Parliament, firstly as stagiaire to the Committee on Legal Affairs of the European Parliament and then as a parliamentary Assistant to a Member of the European Parliament following the Internal Market and Consumer Protection and Employment and Social Affairs Committees.
Her scope of business focuses on civil and commercial law.
She practices civil and commercial litigation, representing clients by pursuing and defending their claims before the competent Courts and Public Authorities in disputes, enforcement and insolvency proceedings as well as debt collection.
Maria has experience in reaching negotiations and settlements. She provides expert advice on the legislative and regulatory framework and compliance affecting corporate transactions, contractual relationships and real estate issues.
She is also specialised in advising clients on intellectual property, competition, new technologies issues as well as employee and administrative law.
